Date: August 2007 – February 2009 & February 2012 – December 2015

Project : Questa Mine (New Mexico, USA)

In 2007 Thyssen Mining was asked to consult with underground development and mine rehabilitation. After successfully completing the consulting phase of work, Thyssen Mining was asked to return to the site in 2012 to perform rehabilitation of a previously abandoned mine level and drift development in areas with historically adverse ground conditions. In 2014 when Chevron Mining announced that the mine would be closing, Thyssen mining was selected to oversee all mine decommissioning using the local workforce.
